We are seeking a Bench Test Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain laboratory-based validation solutions for semiconductor devices and IP products.

The role focuses on electrical validation, measurement automation, and debug activities using lab equipment and software tools such as LabVIEW and Python. The engineer will work closely with design, product, and ATE teams across international sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute bench-level validation and characterization plans for semiconductor devices and IP products.
  • Design, automate, and maintain measurement setups using Python, LabVIEW, or similar software tools.
  • Perform electrical characterization using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, source measure units (SMUs), arbitrary waveform generators (AWGs), power supplies, and signal generators.
  • Develop scripts and data-processing frameworks to collect, analyze, and visualize measurement results.
  • Investigate and debug silicon issues, identifying root causes and working with design teams to drive corrective actions.
  • Correlate bench measurements with ATE test results to ensure product performance and test coverage.
  • Define validation methodologies, test procedures, and characterization plans in collaboration with design and product engineering teams.
  • Document test setups, measurement procedures, results, and technical conclusions.
  • Ensure measurement accuracy, repeatability, and data integrity throughout the validation cycle.
  • Support silicon bring-up, characterization, and early product validation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, ATE, product engineering).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory infrastructure, automation frameworks, and validation methodologies.
