<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>The BI Designer\u202f<\/span>is responsible for<\/span>\u202fdesigning reporting and dashboard experiences across both the existing reporting landscape and the future target BI platform. The role focuses on report rationalization, dashboard usability, KPI visualization, and migration\-ready BI designs<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>YOU WIL<\/span>L<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>- Review existing dashboards, reports, cubes, and BI assets across legacy and current platforms.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Identify<\/span>\u202fduplicate, outdated, low\-value, or inconsistent reports.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, KPI usage, and decision\-making workflows.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Design target\-state dashboards, wireframes, and report layouts.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Support migration of reports from legacy BI tools into the strategic BI platform.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Define visualization standards, dashboard templates, filters,\u202f<\/span>drill\-downs<\/span>, and navigation patterns.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Ensure reports are designed to consume governed semantic models and approved datasets.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Work closely with BI Developers, Business Analysts, and Data Modelers to\u202f<\/span>validate<\/span>\u202ffeasibility.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Support user experience improvements and dashboard adoption.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Work with the Data Architect, Technical Data Lead, Business Analysts, ETL Developers, BI Developers, Platform Admin, and business stakeholders. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Support architecture transition activities by ensuring that current\-state logic is understood before it is migrated, simplified, or retired. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>- Experience designing enterprise BI dashboards and analytical reports. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>- Good understanding of Power BI, Cognos, OBIEE, Tableau, or similar BI tools. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Strong knowledge of data visualization, KPI storytelling, and dashboard usability. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Ability to translate business requirements into visual designs. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Understanding of<\/span> <\/span>semantic models, filters, dimensions, measures, and reporting hierarchies. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
