<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>The BI Developer\u202fis responsible for\u202fsupporting, enhancing, migrating, and building BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical datasets across the current and target architecture.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>YOU WILL<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>- Support existing BI platforms such as OBIEE, Cognos, Power BI, cubes, or operational dashboards.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Analyze existing report logic, filters, KPIs, calculations, <\/span>joins, and security rules.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Develop new dashboards and reports\u202f<\/span>in<\/span>\u202fthe target BI platform.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Rebuild or migrate legacy reports into the future\-state BI environment.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Build semantic models, calculated measures, KPIs, and reusable datasets.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Validate migrated reports against existing reports to ensure accuracy.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Optimize\u202fdashboard performance, refresh schedules, and query efficiency.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Implement row\-level security, access controls, and business domain\-based reporting access.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Work with ETL Developers and Data Modelers to ensure data readiness.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Support report decommissioning once migrated reports are\u202fvalidated\u202fand approved. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Work with the Data Architect, Technical Data Lead, Business Analysts, ETL Developers, BI Developers, Platform Admin, and business stakeholders. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Support architecture transition activities by ensuring that current\-state logic is understood before it is migrated, simplified, or retired. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>- Strong experience in Power BI and/or enterprise BI tools such as OBIEE, Cognos, Tableau, or Qlik.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Strong SQL skills.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Experience with semantic models, DAX, MDX, measures, KPIs, and calculated fields.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Understanding of<\/span>\u202fstar schemas, facts, dimensions, aggregates, and reporting marts.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>- Experience in report migration, reconciliation, and performance tuning.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/span>
