Join our team as a Leaves & Accommodations Specialist, where you’ll play a critical role in supporting employees through important life events. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll partner across HR, leadership, and external partners to ensure a seamless, compliant, and compassionate leaves and accommodations process.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted resource by providing timely, accurate guidance to employees, leaders, and third-party administrators on leaves and accommodations programs.
- Review and determine eligibility for a variety of leave types, ensuring appropriate designation and documentation.
- Partner with HR, occupational health, management, and legal teams to assess and respond to accommodation requests.
- Manage end-to-end leave cases, providing ongoing communication and updates to all stakeholders.
- Administer leave programs across a multi-site, multi-state organization.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, etc.) while applying company policies.
- Accurately process transactions and maintain employee data across HR systems (HCM, UKG, ServiceNow, and vendor platforms).
- Collaborate with HR teams across locations to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Handle a high volume of inquiries (phone, in-person, and system requests) with professionalism and empathy.
- Safeguard confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in customer service, HR, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with leaves management and HR systems (HRIS, UKG, PeopleSoft, Fusion, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Power Platform experience is a bonus.
