Job Summary**
As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at Franklin Templeton Companies, LLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and distribution efforts, contributing to the growth and retention of client assets. You will primarily focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and assisting senior sales professionals.
Job Responsibilities**
* Proactively identify and research potential new clients and market segments for Franklin Templeton's investment products.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through various communication channels (phone, email, virtual meetings).
* Collaborate with senior Business Development Managers to create and execute effective sales strategies and campaigns.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing Franklin Templeton's investment solutions.
* Assist in the preparation of client reports, performance updates, and other relevant documentation.
* Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to inform sales approaches.
* Utilize CRM systems to meticulously track client interactions, sales pipeline, and progress.
* Participate in client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
* Provide exceptional client service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in a sales support, client service, or business development role within the financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of investment products, capital markets, and financial concepts.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
* FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
* A strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a passion for the financial services industry.
