Qualifications (education) required for filling the position:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting (or studies are ongoing)
Foreign language skills required for filling the position:
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Required skills for filling the position:
- Experience in a shared service environment, preferably in Finance/ Billing
- Proven IT skills
- Personable, approachable, and able to converse with people at all levels within the organisation both internally and externally
- Strong organisational and planning skills along with the ability to confidently prioritise tasks in a timely fashion
- Ability to work under significant pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Proactive with the ability to work either on own initiative or as part of a team and manage invoicing on a monthly basis
Responsibilities of the job-holder:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Business on all areas of Revenue Recognition, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Receiving billing requests from the Business to process in B2O/Workday
- Liaise with the Business to ensure the information required for invoicing is correct and up to date to enable invoicing before the deadlines (ICA’s, Creation of Projects, New Customer/Entity or address set-ups and supporting documentation)
- Good understanding of the invoicing process end to end in compliance with SOX
- Own the UK&I Debtors process and assist the UK Treasury team with cash application
- Assist the Business in raising supplier POs and manage the Vendor Master Data
- A knowledge expert at Spend Category Mapping/Posting Rules/Workday FDM Coding
Regular tasks:
- Complete monthly billing for all UK&I teams
- Supporting the team in setting up projects on BAIT and Salesforce where required
- Manage Debtors process
- Manage Outside Broker and Due from Client accounts
- Code supplier invoices with the required information and forward to AP for payment
- Support the team in obtaining any supporting vendor set-up information required by the clients
- Run credit checks for UK&I clients
Main records and documents kept by the jobholder:
- Client and intercompany invoices
- Contracts, signed agreements
- Vendor forms
- Supplier invoices
- Company Bank Account Details
