Job Summary
You will prepare and process customer billing accurately, verify operational documents, coordinate with operations teams, maintain billing records, and support administrative tasks to ensure smooth billing operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer billing and invoices accurately to ensure correct financial documentation
- Submit billing to customers on time to maintain cash flow and customer satisfaction
- Verify operational documents and billing details to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with operations teams to resolve billing issues and clarify discrepancies
- Maintain proper billing records and documentation for audit and reference purposes
- Support ad hoc administrative duties as needed to assist the team and maintain workflow
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry preferred to understand billing context and processes
- Knowledge of CargoWise system is an advantage for efficient billing and documentation management
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes, including training for CargoWise if no prior experience
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications to perform billing and documentation tasks
- Responsible and detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
