Role Overview:
Responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Billing Applications by designing and automating test solutions, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, managing defects, and driving continuous improvement across testing processes and quality standards.
Role insights:
- Design and evolve automated test strategies, test cases, and test plans for Billing Applications.
- Own and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and challenge requirements to ensure testability and quality.
- Define and execute complex test scenarios across functional and non-functional areas.
- Execute performance, reliability, and serviceability tests.
- Identify, track, and manage defects with development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex system and customer issues with support and engineering teams.
- Provide feedback to improve system quality, stability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Test Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and automation.
- Support manual and exploratory testing where needed.
What Makes You Unique:
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing, including test design and execution.
- Experience with test management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, QC, Confluence).
- Experience in database testing, including writing SQL queries and understanding stored procedures.
- Solid Linux/Unix skills for test execution and troubleshooting.
- Experience with test automation using Java or Python.
- Understanding of API and integration testing (e.g., XML, SOAP/REST).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and integration of automated tests.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Structured and reliable way of working with high attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to improving test processes, automation, and quality standards.
