BIM Manager
Job Scopes:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models within the project.
- Prepare and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) that outlines the BIM goals, processes, and responsibilities for the project.
- Align BIM implementation with the project's overall strategic objectives, ensuring that BIM supports the project's goals and enhances efficiency
- To Facilitate collaboration among various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure integrated and coordinated design and construction models.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related matters, engaging with all stakeholders including project owners, design teams, contractors, and Client’s representatives.
- Monitor regular run of Clash Detection within the BIM models and identify and resolve conflicts and to prevent issues during construction.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of BIM models, ensuring they meet the project's specifications and Client’s standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team regarding BIM tools and processes.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for project staff to enhance their BIM skills and knowledge.
- Monitor the progress of BIM implementation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Generate regular reports on BIM-related progress, issues, and achievements for the project management team and Client.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to support BIM activities and maintain project timelines.
- Introduce innovative solutions and practices that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BIM in the project.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with BIM implementation and integration within the project.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential issues related to BIM
- Promote the use of BIM for sustainable design practices, optimizing energy performance and reducing waste.
- Ensure that BIM models contain relevant information for the entire lifecycle of the infrastructure, facilitating maintenance and operations post-construction.
Requirements (Qualification & Experience):
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services, Architectural or Structural Engineering with more than 6 years of working experience in construction design, drafting, BIM modelling, BIM model management and/ or coordination (services)
- Formally trained in specialist diploma in BIM, preferably with at least 4 years of experience in services coordination using BIM or BIM Management and/or modelling experience in a design, engineering or construction firm for a large project. As a minimum, completed one full project cycle from design to as-built stage
- Work location is situation in the East of Singapore.
