Responsibilities
Core Functions
- Before taking up the project/pre-start of the project:
- To help/support the CAD manager in preparing feasibility study reports to meet brief requirements in the agreed format.
- Identify the queries and pass on to the senior engineer/CAD manager who will in return send these through RFIs for clarification to the clients.
- To study and understand the scope of works fully.
- Ensure that every item of the design brief has been considered in the assessment of scope.
During the progress of the project
- Support the drafting/detailing process by producing volume of work and encourage the team to be very efficient.
- To quickly flag up the issues affecting the progress and quality.
- To ensure that the design brief and design documents are followed 100%.
- To ensure the quality procedures are always followed and adhered to.
- To support the CAD manager to deal with the day to day queries from clients/site, ensuring that relevant information is available on time for construction activity.
- To support the CAD manager in developing and producing the templates.
- To communicate with the clients efficiently and effectively if needed in the absence of CAD manager.
Business and Team Functions
- Manage delegated tasks to ensure that deadlines are met and flag resourcing concerns to CAD manager/team leader.
- Develop close working relationships, share resource with others in the team, support and encourage colleagues.
- To find the opportunities to develop the technical skills of self.

Qualifications
- At least Diploma Cad with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
