BIM Technician Process Mechanical
Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the BIM Lead, Design lead and Project Managers to develop construction document packages in Revit, & CAD [knowledge of Civil3D and/or MicroStation is an advantage]
You will apply BIM modelling knowledge on water and wastewater projects including but not limited to preparation of Treatment Plant layouts, yard piping, M&E process detailing, P&IDs, develop cross sections and sheets based on developed BIM models, etc. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines for process mechanical/electrical inputs, in preparation of these deliverables.
You will work with the present BIM team and follow procedures to ensure compliance with Company and Project BIM/CAD standards and project specifications.
You will work with other team members and ensure project deliverables are submitted on time and as per expectations of quality and timeline.
You will comply with check/review process and carryout self-check of project deliverables for compliance to specifications/requirements.
Work in a diverse environment and be able to demonstrate best practice in project delivery; be familiar with relevant international standards/guidelines.
Collaborate with lead region (Canada), participate in the meetings, adhere to the hybrid work policy of the company and lead by example for the entire team.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory Skills
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering Technology / Water Resource Engineering.
3-7 years of experience in delivering W&WW projects as per Client standards, on schedule and on budget.
Fully conversant with REVIT and knowledge of BIM [knowledge of Civil3D is an added advantage]
Knowledge of Building Codes/ guidelines relevant to W&WW sector for Canada region.
Knowledge of Best Practice for BIM Modelling and Design for W&WW sector projects.
Knowledge in Water wastewater infrastructure design.
Thorough knowledge of QA/QC process.
