Biomedical Engineer - Thailand
Duties and responsibilities:
- Travel to different regions to calibrate biomedical equipment in accordance with quality standards.
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex biomedical equipment across multiple locations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of clinical equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and technical staff to address equipment-related issues and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to biomedical engineering.
- Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
- Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of biomedical equipment
- Qualification in Biomedical engineering/technology
- Certified as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school or Diploma or associate degree in biomedical engineering or biomedical technology.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Experience in multi-modality hospital-based employment. Especially ICU equipment.
- OEM training on hospital equipment.
