Biomedical Engineer - Thailand

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Travel to different regions to calibrate biomedical equipment in accordance with quality standards.
  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex biomedical equipment across multiple locations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of clinical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and technical staff to address equipment-related issues and provide technical support.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to biomedical engineering.
  • Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
  • Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
  • Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of biomedical equipment
  • Qualification in Biomedical engineering/technology
  • Certified as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school or Diploma or associate degree in biomedical engineering or biomedical technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in multi-modality hospital-based employment. Especially ICU equipment.
  • OEM training on hospital equipment.

· Excellent IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems

· Fluency in English

· Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team, with clinical and non-clinical personnel
