BiRD (Biomimicry for Regenerative Design) Lab Teacher Assistant Intern

Green School Bali is looking for a passionate, curious, and multidisciplinary individual to become one of the first BiRD (Biomimicry for Regenerative Design) Lab Pioneer Practitioners.


This is more than an internship; it's an opportunity to help shape a brand-new learning ecosystem where biology, technology, design, and sustainability come together. Working alongside the BiRD Curriculum Lead and Head of Campus, you'll contribute to creating an inspiring environment where over 500 students and educators explore nature as the ultimate teacher.


What You'll Do

  • Support the daily operations of the BiRD Lab and its three learning spaces.
  • Maintain safe, inspiring, and teaching-ready laboratory environments.
  • Facilitate the use of lab technologies, including 3D printing, microscopy, wet lab equipment, woodworking, and digital design tools.
  • Assist teachers and students in Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities inspired by biomimicry and regenerative design.
  • Collaborate across departments to build a culture of innovation, feedback, and continuous learning.


Who We're Looking For

  • International students or recent graduates or professionals with backgrounds in education, science, engineering, design, research, technical trades, or related fields.
  • Passionate about sustainability, biomimicry, regenerative practices, and systems thinking.
  • Comfortable working across both technical laboratory environments and creative design spaces.
  • Curious, adaptable, and excited to learn new technologies.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Responsible, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Open to local applicants only.

  • Please note that this is a non-paid internship; however, a monthly allowance of IDR 1 million is provided for meal & transport expenses.
