Branch Manager - Gauteng Region

We are looking for a talented Branch Manager - Gauteng Region to join our team specializing in General Management for our Distribution Business Unit in Gauteng, South Africa.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive operational excellence across multiple branches by overseeing daily activities, ensuring consistent performance, and aligning operations with business goals.
  • Deliver strong financial results by managing profit and loss, monitoring key metrics, and driving performance against the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Enable branch success by leading and supporting Branch Managers, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and high performance across teams.
  • Strengthen market position by analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and partners to enhance customer loyalty and expand business opportunities.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture by improving satisfaction scores (e.g., NPS) and ensuring high-quality service delivery across all branches.
  • Improve operational efficiency by monitoring service metrics, resolving recurring issues (e.g., warranty trends), and optimising repair cycle times.
  • Foster a high-performing and inclusive workplace by developing, motivating, and retaining talent, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and corporate responsibility standards.

Education/ Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in required Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.
  • Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.
  • Background and experience in mining/maintenance production (Essential)
  • Experience managing critical equipment failure scenarios and ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations
  • Proven track record of delivering against service level agreements (SLAs) and customer performance commitments
  • Demonstrated experience in improving equipment uptime and availability across large fleets or multiple customer sites
  • Working knowledge of key reliability KPIs
