Branch Manager

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the daily management of branch operations and associates to ensure sales, growth, and profit objectives.
  • Ensures adherence to operational procedures and regulations related to account and lending functions.
  • Oversees facilities operations, security controls, audits, opening/closing procedures, balancing, and supply management.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminations, performance reviews, coaching, and associate development.
  • Provides ongoing coaching, sales training, and performance leadership to drive sales and service excellence.
  • Develops and maintains a highly motivated, well‑trained staff committed to service and performance goals.
  • Monitors sales and service behaviors to ensure sound business practices and exceptional member experience.
  • Assists members with account and loan needs as necessary; ensures consistent quality and compliance standards.
  • Maintains prescribed security controls and immediately reports irregularities to appropriate departments.
  • Ensures confidentiality and compliance with credit union policies and government regulations.
  • Performs quality control assessments on loan and account documentation and ensures timely correction of errors.
  • Participates in credit union projects and assists with system testing as needed.
  • Supports the growth of the branch through business development and community involvement.
  • Represents the credit union in relationships with members, community organizations, and vendors.
  • Leads and participates in required branch marketing outreach throughout the year, supporting credit union growth initiatives.
  • Responsible for opening business accounts and ensuring an exceptional experience for business members.
  • Drives new member growth for the branch and the credit union through targeted sales, outreach, and community engagement.
  • Promotes digital banking solutions and leads efforts to increase member usage and adoption of digital tools.
  • Supports the rollout, adoption, and staff training for new product and service offerings.
  • Perform other tasks or special project work as assigned.
