Bross Street Assisted Living Caregiver
- Bross Street Assisted Living is looking for a dedicated Care Provider to support a small community of older adults in our downtown Longmont home. Our residents value their independence and we are looking for caregivers who will support them in their daily routines while keeping their dignity and self-worth at the forefront. Our home serves a maximum of 11 residents and we ensure our residents receive the highest quality of support. - Duties and responsibilities:
- Fostering an independent living environment for aging adults through person-centered care
- On-going communication and care plan development with team members, administrator, residents, and family members
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living including:
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation and facilitation
- Perform and/or assist with personal care, such as bathing, shaving, dressing, eating
- Light cleaning and housekeeping as needed
- Creating and facilitating meaningful community and home-based activities
- Working alongside volunteers and external care providers to deliver services as needed
- Complete daily documentation on resident care
- Fostering an independent living environment for aging adults through person-centered care
- Qualifications:
- Available to work 8-hour shifts, either 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Diverse experience across industries welcome
- Works in full compliance with all of Bross Street policies, procedures, and protocols
