Atlas OT is seeking an experienced BAS Field Service Manager to\n help lead and grow our building automation service work across the\n Denver metro area and Colorado Front Range. This role is ideal for a\n technically strong BAS professional who enjoys solving field\n problems, supporting customers, and developing technicians while\n helping build a scalable service operation.
The BAS Field Service Manager leads day\-to\-day BAS service,\n troubleshooting, commissioning, and field support activities while\n serving as a technical escalation resource for complex controls\n issues. This role combines hands\-on technical leadership with team\n support, customer coordination, and process improvement to\n strengthen service quality, field execution, and long\-term team growth.

The ideal candidate will have 7\u201310\nyears of technical BAS, DDC, HVAC controls, or building automation field\nexperience, along with 2\u20133 years of supervisory or team leadership experience,\nand an interest in growing into a broader leadership role as Atlas expands its\nBAS service team.<\/span>
<\/p>- Lead and support BAS service, troubleshooting, startup,\n commissioning, and field execution activities
<\/span><\/li>- Serve as a technical escalation resource for complex BAS,\n DDC, HVAC controls, networking, and integration issues
<\/span><\/li>- Support technician scheduling, field prioritization, and\n day\-to\-day service coordination
<\/span><\/li>- Mentor and develop BAS technicians in troubleshooting,\n programming, controls hardware, and customer communication

Requirements<\/h3>Required Requirements:
<\/div>
- 7+ years of hands\-on BAS, DDC, HVAC controls, commissioning,\n or field troubleshooting experience
<\/span><\/li>- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, supervising, or coordinating technicians, installers, subcontractors, or field teams.
<\/li> - Strong technical knowledge of BAS/DDC control systems, HVAC equipment operation, control sequences, integration, programming, and field service practices.
<\/li> - Experience with BAS system startup, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support.
<\/li> - Ability to diagnose controller\-level, network\-level, communication, graphics, alarm, wiring, sensor, actuator, and programming issues.
<\/li> - Working knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON.
<\/li> - Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, engineering specifications, and sequences of operation.
<\/li> - Experience supporting commercial HVAC systems and understanding how mechanical equipment interacts with BAS controls.
<\/li> - Ability to train and mentor technicians in both technical skills and professional field service expectations.
<\/li> - Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem\-solving skills.
<\/li> - Ability to manage multiple priorities, service requests, schedules, and technical escalations.
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred Qualifications:
<\/div>
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara,\nDistech, KMC, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Alerton, Automated\nLogic, or similar BAS systems.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience with BAS custom programming, graphics,\nalarming, trend analysis, sequence optimization, and system integration.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience with fault detection and diagnostics, energy\noptimization, analytics platforms, or retro\-commissioning.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience supporting service agreements, maintenance\ncontracts, quoted service work, and small projects.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience helping build or scale a BAS service team or\nbranch.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Associate degree, technical school training, bachelor\u2019s\ndegree, or equivalent field experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical\nsystems, controls, automation, or a related discipline.<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Relevant BAS, Niagara, HVAC, controls, or manufacturer\ncertifications are a plus.<\/span>
