About the Role
As Business Analyst at Brighte, you’ll sit at the heart of our AI and automation transformation within our sales and operations team. You’ll identify where technology can unlock the most value, build the case for change, and lead implementation from start to finish – working across Commercial, Data, Operations, Technology, and Engineering to get things done.
This is a hands-on role with real impact. One week you might be mapping a broken process and designing an AI-powered solution to fix it; the next you’re embedding a new tool into an operational team and measuring the results. You’ll have direct exposure to the C-suite from day one, reporting to the Head of Business Operations and working closely with the CFO, Head of Sales & Operations, Data team, and senior functional leaders to ensure every AI initiative is grounded in business value, built to scale, and delivers measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing a deep understanding of Brighte’s business model, processes, and data landscape, then identifying, prioritising, and roadmapping AI and automation opportunities based on commercial impact, cost, and feasibility
- Building business cases that connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes, including use-case analysis, cost-benefit assessment, and risk evaluation
- Translating business requirements into clear technical and analytical specifications
- Leading end-to-end implementation of AI and automation initiatives — on time, on budget, and aligned with business goals
- Working with Engineering and Technical teams to integrate AI tools into Brighte’s existing systems, and deploying and optimising platforms including the Claude suite, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT
- Identifying broken or inefficient processes and redesigning workflows that leverage AI and automation, building new processes that are documented, repeatable, and transferable across teams
- Evaluating the performance of implemented solutions and continuously surfacing opportunities for optimisation
- Partnering closely with the CFO, Head of Sales & Operations, Data team, and key functional leaders to align AI initiatives with Brighte’s strategic roadmap, and facilitating workshops and prioritisation discussions across business units
- Acting as the bridge between business users and technical teams, and maintaining strong governance so AI adoption aligns with data security, privacy, and responsible AI standards
About the work
This role sits close to Brighte’s retailer ecosystem, the network of solar, battery, and clean energy retailers at the heart of our platform. The mission is to grow an active, high-quality vendor network that drives clean energy uptake at scale. It’s genuinely consequential work with an ambitious roadmap, and no shortage of hard problems to solve.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a commercial or technology-driven environment
- You’ve used AI to fundamentally change how you work, not as a novelty but as your default operating mode. You’re a deep AI practitioner who understands how large language models, machine learning, and automation tools actually work — not just how to use them — and you build agents, automations, and tools fluently
- A proven track record identifying operational problems, assessing their commercial value, and leading solutions through to delivery
- Strong experience with data analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
- Hands-on experience with enterprise AI and automation platforms — Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent
- Sharp commercial acumen — you can size an opportunity, build a business case, and make a clear recommendation
- Excellent stakeholder skills — confident presenting to senior leaders and equally comfortable working alongside technical teams
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and responsible AI principles
- A self-starter who thrives on turning ambiguous problems into structured solutions and tangible outcomes, and who’s comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment where priorities shift and initiative is rewarded
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications a plus
What’s in it for you
- Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 at home designed for flexibility and collaboration
- Free lunch on Tasty Tuesdays, plus a pantry stocked with snacks, fresh fruit, and beers and wines in the fridge.
- Weekly Thursday social events, with regular team activities throughout the year

- End-of-trip facilities with showers, towel service, and secure bike storage
- Anniversary leave – an extra day off to celebrate each year with us
Our hiring process
At Brighte, we use AI every day, and we hire people who do too. We’re looking for people who have lived or are living the AI transformation and will drive this forward at Brighte. That’s why all roles include an assessment which is designed to see how you put AI to work. There’s no right tool and no trick to it – we want to see how you think. Towards the end of our hiring process, we require all candidates to undertake references and background checks, which include a police check, anti-money laundering and bankruptcy checks.
