Business Analyst Data Product

MAIN PURPOSE:<\/b>

The purpose of the Business Analyst is to assist with the identification,\ninvestigation, documenting, User Acceptance Testing, Project Management and\nimplementation of changes within the assigned department in line with the WFS\nplatforms within WFS.<\/span><\/span>

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

Project Delivery<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Interface between CRO and business\nproject teams, partners, development teams and IT to ensure optimised project\nimplementations. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in departmental\ninitiatives to continuously seek improvements in business strategies, policies,\nsystems and procedures. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage integration projects or sub\nprojects and assign responsibilities to project team members. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in the post\nimplementation reviews for completed projects. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Make appropriate recommendations\nto ensure solutions are optimally implemented. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Provide subject matter expertise\nw.r.t. technical feasibility of implementing, data and credit systems\ninfrastructure\-related changes. <\/span><\/span>

    Business and Systems Requirement Specifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • Interpret requirements document\nand analyse existing system and interfaces for modification / improvement\npurposes and evaluate the best design for the expected requirement <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Develop and maintain system\nrequirement specification, program specifications and test documentation for\naudit purposes. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Obtain approval from all related\nprocess owners to proceed with changes. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Monitor the end\-to\-end execution\nof changes requested. <\/span><\/span>

      Change Management (Software and Systems)<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Maintain a change log/chronology\nover time.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Follow appropriate governance\nprocesses for implementation approval.<\/span><\/span>

        Testing<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/p>

        • Develop test plans for system and\nintegration testing.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Change systems specifications\nbased on testing problems / amended requirements.<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Participate in testing and\ndocument any failures or issues identified. Ensure that all the issues\nidentified by all the testers are adequately documented, prioritised and\nscheduled for correction.<\/span><\/span>

          Reporting<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Produce and automate regular\nreporting including executive and management summaries.<\/span><\/span>

            Systems\nStability and Support<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

            • Ensure the stability of the\nexisting Data and Analytics environment.<\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/li>
            • Monitor, support and maintain data\nand report delivery.<\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/li>
            • Support\nall Data\-related matters, including data transfers, DWH, etc.<\/span><\/span>

              Stakeholder\nManagement and Specialist Advice<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
              <\/p>

              • Manage the creation and hand\-over\nof the system administration procedures.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Liaise with 3rd Party Vendors as\nappropriate.<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Identify opportunities for data\nand process optimization within CRO and the broader WFS business<\/span><\/span>
                <\/span><\/li>
              • Ensure\nawareness, adherence and compliance to all data and security related policies\nand procedures.<\/span><\/span>

                  • Relevant post\-graduate degree.<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/li>
                  • 5 Years minimum experience as a Business Analyst with 1 of these years as a senior<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/li>
                  • Knowledge of the financial services industry <\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/li>
                  • 3 years\u2019 experience in supporting and/or managing SQL and/or Credit Decision systems<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/li>
                  • Experience with Cloud tools such as Airflow, redshift. AWS Glue and so on<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                    • Basic\nknowledge of TRIAD, Blaze Advisor, VisionPLUS or CAMS<\/span><\/span>

                    • Basic\nKnowledge of system infrastructures and architectures.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/span><\/li>
                    • Experience\nin managing third\-party relationships is essential.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/span><\/li>
                    • Experience\nin testing the implementation of software strategies.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/span><\/li>
                    • Experience\nof relevant change methodologies. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
