Job Description:
Manage internal control discipline with focus on sales practice, sales integrity, and conduct controls. Drive synergies and standardization across sales outlier monitoring controls both internally and cross those FLUs who participate in governance routines which this team runs. Iteratively monitor effectiveness of current strategy portfolio while helping drive proactive strengthening. Drive end-to-end consistency of sales integrity monitoring, inclusive of proactive risk identification, strategy design, data control, and thematic analysis. Maintain evidentiary documentation, and partner closely with senior leadership across multiple lines of business, GCOR, supervision, legal, and HR/ER to drive sales practice oversight. Candidate must have strong executive presence and be capable communicating results & calls to action to executive leadership. Acts as an ambassador of our risk culture.
Responsibilities:
Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
Required:
5+ years of related experience in either Sales, Business Controls, GCOR, Audit Issues Management, Project Management and/or Regulatory Complaints experience
Strong business acumen and knowledge of products and services offered by the Bank
Understands sales processes and associated Sales Practice Risks
Experience using analytics and critical thinking skills to develop strategies with appropriate controls to mitigate risk
Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Proven ability to lead and influence with key partners including Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit
Ability to adjust and react with optimism and professionalism-solution oriented
Attention to detail and ability to hold others accountable without direct supervision.
Able to work in fast-paced, multi-priority environment
Proven experience with raising the bar on performance expectations

Series 7, 66, 9, 10 desired, but not required
