Business Development Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new construction project opportunities.
- Support evaluation of project viability, pricing strategy, and risk assessment.
- Attend site meetings, client briefings, and industry networking event.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms and project agreements.
- Support smooth handover from tender stage to project execution.
- Ensure client requirements are properly communicated to internal teams.
- Track construction market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
- Provide insights to support business expansion strategy.
- Prepare business development reports for management review.
- Track KPIs such as tender success rate and revenue contribution.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in construction, tendering, QS, or business development roles
- Familiarity with construction contracts, drawings, and tender processes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
