Business Development Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new construction project opportunities.
  • Support evaluation of project viability, pricing strategy, and risk assessment.
  • Attend site meetings, client briefings, and industry networking event.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and project agreements.
  • Support smooth handover from tender stage to project execution.
  • Ensure client requirements are properly communicated to internal teams.
  • Track construction market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
  • Provide insights to support business expansion strategy.
  • Prepare business development reports for management review.
  • Track KPIs such as tender success rate and revenue contribution.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction, tendering, QS, or business development roles
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, drawings, and tender processes
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
