The Opportunity

Join a leading global law firm and play a key role in driving the growth and market positioning of our Digital Legal Delivery practice and broader AI initiatives.

As a Business Development Consultant, you’ll work closely with partners, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape pursuit strategies, support complex opportunities and ensure alignment between global priorities and regional execution across APAC.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead opportunity shaping and pursuit strategy for priority mandates, including the development of high-quality bids and client-facing materials.

  • Advise and influence partners on positioning, messaging and differentiation to strengthen our approach on complex opportunities.

  • Coordinate BD activity across APAC and align with global strategy, ensuring consistent execution across teams and jurisdictions.

  • Lead the preparation of directory and awards submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Support pricing and commercial thinking on complex, multi-disciplinary mandates, contributing to competitive and commercially sound proposals.

  • Develop and refine Digital Legal Delivery and AI propositions, and partner with Marketing, Communications and Events teams to deliver strategic market-facing initiatives and thought leadership. Provide strategic insight, research and analysis to support client engagement, pipeline development and partner decision-making.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a business development, strategy or client-facing role, ideally within professional services or a complex B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to contribute to pricing considerations and understand complex delivery and commercial models.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders, including partners, and to advise, influence and collaborate effectively across teams and jurisdictions.

  • A degree in marketing, commerce, business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
