Business Development Executive

Job Description & Requirements

Our logistics company is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and establish strategic partnerships. The role includes:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales:

  • Identify and approach potential clients (manufacturers, retailers, e-commerce businesses, etc.).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to close deals.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business. Address client concerns and provide tailored logistics solutions

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
    Develop strategies to position the company ahead of competitors.
    Identify new revenue streams (e.g., last-mile delivery, warehousing, cold chain logistics).

Partnership & Vendor Management:

  • Establish partnerships with transportation providers, warehouses, and suppliers.
    Negotiate contracts and pricing for cost-effective solutions.

Marketing & Branding

  • Work with the marketing team to promote services via digital marketing, trade shows, and networking events.
    Develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Operational Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, fleet management, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide client feedback to improve service offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
