Business Development Executive (Events & Exhibition Industry)

About the Role


We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing Events Build team. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of projects in exhibitions, events, and signage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the exhibitions, events, and signage sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s business growth and brand reputation.

Account Servicing & Project Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand client objectives and coordinate with internal teams (design, carpentry, print, operations) for timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Address client feedback promptly and resolve any issues to maintain satisfaction and trust.
  • Support project documentation including quotations, contracts, and reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing, preferably in the events, exhibition, or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
