Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding) - Fresh Graduates Welcome

Job Scope:

  • To achieve Company’s business growth (budget/target) with existing resources

  • To manage and expand new business and contribute to meet sales KPI

  • Manage a portfolio of new and potential customers via telephone contact

  • Build a strong client relationship and grow accounts to their maximum potential

  • Coordinate with different department and act as the customer’s point of contact to ensure all queries, problem or issues are dealt with appropriately

  • Ensure that customer information is maintained accurately on the database

  • Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring

  • Credit control management

  • Sales support – preparing of quotations, coordination with overseas agents, monthly tariff & reporting

  • Any other ad hoc task assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma

  • No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided

  • Strong business acumen with good presentation and communication skills

  • Outspoken, proactive, and eager to learn within the logistics and freight forwarding industry

  • Sales-driven with strong initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of multitasking and managing priorities effectively

  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage
