As part of our commercial team in Oceania, you will work closely with distributors, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive business growth. This is a highly visible role combining customer engagement, business development, and commercial execution.
The Role & Your Impact
As a Business Development Manager, Animal Biosolutions Oceania, you will drive business growth and strengthen market presence through effective distributor management and customer partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing strategic relationships with key distributors and accounts
- Acting as the primary liaison between distributors and Novonesis to ensure strong collaboration
- Leading distribution management processes including business reviews, target setting, and contract management
- Driving resolution of commercial and supply chain challenges across functions
- Owning sales forecasting and demand planning for assigned territory
- Identifying and capturing new business opportunities together with partners
- Introducing new products and supporting the growth of the silage inoculants business
- Translating regional strategies into actionable territory and account plans
- Managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Representing Novonesis at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, biology, veterinary sciences, or a related field
- Strong experience in agriculture and animal nutrition industry, ideally in Oceania
- Solid background in distributor management and key account development
- Proven success in business development and driving revenue growth
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting and sales planning
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data to support decision-making
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel (~30%)
