Business Development Manager [Construction]
Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and managing client relationships within the construction and engineering industry. Lead tender sourcing, proposal coordination, and contract negotiations to achieve revenue targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and engineering industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Main Contractors, Developers, Consultants, Subcontractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Source and follow up on tender invitations, requests for quotations (RFQs), and project opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Promote the company's construction services, manpower supply services, and project capabilities to potential clients.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project discussions to understand customer requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contract conditions with clients.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Achieve business growth targets and contribute to the company's revenue and profitability.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of business development, sales, or tendering experience in the construction industry.
- Familiar with construction tender processes, quotations, and project procurement practices.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Existing network with Main Contractors, Developers, Consultants, or Construction Industry Stakeholders will be an advantage.
- Experience in manpower supply, civil engineering, building construction, or general construction services preferred.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
