Business Development Manager- Healthcare

Silgan Dispensing Systems is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager grow our Healthcare business throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding our market presence within pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare applications.

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth throughout the assigned territory.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities while managing an active sales pipeline.
- Partner with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Innovation teams.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating market trends and customer needs.
- Develop account plans, forecasts, and territory growth strategies.
- Negotiate commercial agreements that strengthen customer partnerships while protecting profitability.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and customer engagement.
- Represent Silgan Dispensing Systems at customer meetings and industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 10+ years of business development, key account management, or direct sales experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, packaging, or related industries.
- Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals.
- Experience working remotely from a home office.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $150,000 plus generous bonus. Final compensation may be higher and will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall value they bring to the organization.
