BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Base + High Commission (Uncapped) | Remote | AU + US Markets



HireGummy is an HR tech company, currently operating in US and Australia and looking for a BDR who can work and cover partial hours of both the time zones.


Everything is in place, GHL CRM is live, Meta campaigns are running in AU and US, and LinkedIn accounts are active. Leads are already sitting in the pipeline, old and new. Your job is to re-engage the old ones first, convert them, and keep closing the new ones coming in. Day one, no ramp-up.


What You Will Own

Lead Conversion

Re-engage existing warm leads in GHL first — these are your priority

Pick up fresh Meta leads (AU + US) same day via call, SMS, or WhatsApp

Qualify prospects, run discovery calls and demos, handle objections

Secure deposit and manage full cycle through to specialist start

Social Outreach

Use company social accounts to identify and pitch warm prospects

Focus on businesses posting about hiring challenges or growth

Every message personalised — no copy-paste templates

LinkedIn Outreach

Run outreach sequences across multiple accounts using Waalaxy

Target AU and US business owners and decision-makers

Move conversations off-platform into booked calls

Set up in-person Sydney meetings with the co-founder for local prospects

Report weekly on volume, reply rate, and meetings booked

Strategy Input

Bring ideas from your own track record — what has worked and why

Suggest channels and sequences to grow pipeline beyond what is there

Flag what is not working early

You need a manager to structure your week

Confident on the phone, not just over email or LinkedIn


You have never worked in a high-commission sales environment

LinkedIn outreach and multi-channel pipeline management


You treat the CRM as something to fill in at the end of the week

Self-directed with no need for daily oversight


You send the same message to everyone

Can operate across AU and US time zones


You are looking for a warm-up period before you perform

Compensation

Base salary plus high uncapped commission. HireGummy runs on a monthly retainer model per specialist placed — every client you close generates recurring value. The more you close, the more you earn every month. Full structure shared during the interview.
