Business Development Manager (Maritime / SATCOM)

The Business Development Manager with experience\nin the Maritime sector and/or related industries will focus on new\nbusiness development, identifying opportunities, generating leads, and\nconverting prospects into long\-term customers. The individual must be a true\nhunter, energized by building a pipeline through cold outreach, visits, and\nnetworking. Must understand the Maritime landscape and be able to translate\ncustomer needs into clear, commercially strong solutions within our satcom and\nIT portfolio.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proactively generate new business through cold calling, outreach, and\nclient visits<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and develop opportunities within the maritime and offshore\nsectors<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Attend and represent the company at events, exhibitions, and industry\nmeetings across Europe<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Onboard new customers and provide a clear overview of our portfolio and\nsolutions<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work closely with technical and project teams to align solutions with\ncustomer requirements<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Keep the CRM fully up to date with accurate and structured data<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Stay informed on market developments, competitors, and industry trends<\/span>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and maintain strong,\nlong\-term customer relationships<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Key Skills & Competencies<\/b>
<\/div>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>3\u20135 years of experience in maritime and/or a related industry<\/span>
<\/span>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with SATCOM, connectivity, or similar technical solutions<\/span>
<\/span>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong commercial mindset with a focus on new business (hunting\nmentality)<\/span>
<\/span>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and face\-to\-face sales<\/span>
<\/span>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Understanding of the maritime industry and its dynamics<\/span>
<\/span>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Fluent in English and at least one other major European language<\/span> <\/span>(Dutch, German, or Spanish preferred)<\/span>
