Business Development Officer
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Business Development Officer to join our growing team in the energy sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, preparing business proposals, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who has completed NYSC and is looking to build a rewarding career in business development within a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business development reports.
- Support contract negotiations and client onboarding processes.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Assist in implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Represent the company professionally during meetings, networking events, and client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must have successfully completed NYSC.
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, client management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel when required for business opportunities.
- Applicants should reside in or around Lekki, Lagos, or be willing to commute conveniently to the office location.
