The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, organized, and personable Business Development Associate to build and run our corporate outbound engine.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with approximately 1–3 years of experience who wants to learn modern B2B business development, enterprise sales, and strategic partnerships from the ground up.
You will work closely with and report to our Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead, who will coach you on the sales motion and hand off deals for you to support.
This opportunity provides you with the exposure to the full commercial cycle, from identifying opportunities and booking meetings to supporting proposals, partnerships, running outreach across email and LinkedIn, and strategic conversations to keep our pipeline clean and moving.
The role is conversion-assist and pipeline-led, with flexibility to operate remotely on a non-full-time / project basis.
Mission of the Role
To become the engine behind a consistent flow of qualified conversations, strategic relationships, and new business opportunities by:
- Researching and sourcing for high-potential organizations and decision-makers
- Booking qualified meetings for the BD Lead
- Running outbound campaigns across email and LinkedIn
- Supporting partnerships, events, and strategic growth initiatives
- Keeping the CRM accurate and the pipeline moving
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & List Building (Primary Focus)
- Research and build target account and contact lists across priority segments
- Identify the right decision-makers (CEOs, MDs, Heads of L&D, HR leaders) at companies that fit our profile
- Keep lists clean, enriched, and ready for outreach
2. Outbound Business Development
- Run multi-channel outbound sequences across email and LinkedIn
- Personalize messaging to land replies and start conversations
- Follow up consistently and manage responses with care
- Book qualified meetings and hand them off to the BD Lead
3. Pipeline & CRM Excellence
- Keep the CRM as a clean single source of truth
- Log activity, update deal stages, and flag stale or stuck leads
- Help track outreach metrics and report on what’s working
4. Sales & Partnership Support
- Support the BD Lead through the sales cycle: prep,research, and follow-ups
- Help put together proposals and follow-up materials
- Sit in on calls to learn the motion and gradually take on more of the conversation
5. Events & Partnerships Development
- Help run outreach and confirmations for dinners,roundtables, and pipeline events
- Support relationship-building with founder networks,HR/L&D teams, and partners
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- Approximately 1 – 3 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a related commercial /customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a role that requires consistent outreach activity
- Strong desire to learn enterprise B2B sales and grow into a closing role over time
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with outbound tools (e.g. email sequencing, LinkedIn outreach, or a CRM)
- Exposure to selling intangible or premium services such as consulting, coaching, L&D, or professional services
- Interest in leadership, personal growth, organizational development, or human transformation

Within 6–12 months, you will have:
- Become the engine behind a steady flow of qualified meetings
- Built a clean, reliable pipeline the team can trust
- Learned the full sales motion and started owning parts of it
- Set yourself up to grow into a closing / account-owning role
Working Model
- Remote / flexible engagement
- Part-time, project-based, or fractional arrangements may be considered
- Output-focused environment centered on pipeline generation and commercial outcomes
- Direct reporting line to the Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead
