Business Development Representative
You will be responsible for creating new business opportunities by engaging prospective customers across multiple channels. You will be the first point of contact with potential clients, helping introduce identity and fraud prevention solutions to key decision-makers across enterprise organizations.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and other prospecting channels.
- Identify high-potential target accounts and develop thoughtful outreach strategies tailored to key stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery to understand business challenges, assess fit, and qualify opportunities for the sales team.
- Create and nurture opportunities that contribute directly to sales pipeline and revenue targets.
- Leverage AI tools to improve prospecting efficiency, research, personalization, and productivity.
- Represent at industry events, conferences, dinners, and networking opportunities to identify and develop new business relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activities, and pipeline progression in the CRM.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to execute account strategies and maximize opportunity creation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role.
- Demonstrated success generating pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects confidently over the phone.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate them into daily workflows.
- Comfortable attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities as part of pipeline generation efforts.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, identity, cybersecurity, or related technology industries is preferred.
