Business Development Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Representative based in the United States.

This role sits at the forefront of a fast-growing outbound sales organization, focused on identifying and engaging finance and operations leaders who struggle with manual ERP reporting and inefficient data workflows. You will be responsible for creating new opportunities in target ERP ecosystems by reaching out to prospects who rely heavily on Excel and helping them see a better way to manage reporting and planning. The role is highly outbound-driven, requiring discipline, curiosity, and resilience in building pipeline from scratch. You will be speaking directly with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs and Controllers, to uncover pain points and initiate meaningful sales conversations. It is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where activity, consistency, and messaging quality directly drive success. This is an opportunity to develop strong SaaS sales fundamentals while contributing directly to a rapidly expanding global go-to-market engine.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify and research high-potential accounts within ERP ecosystems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage Intacct, and Acumatica.
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (60+ daily activities) through cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations with finance and operations stakeholders to uncover pain points related to reporting, consolidation, and data entry.
  • Qualify leads using structured frameworks (e.g., BANT or MEDDIC) and book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with ERP partners and consultants to uncover new pipeline opportunities and expand reach within target ecosystems.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring all activities, follow-ups, and prospect interactions are consistently tracked.
  • Contribute insights from the field to improve messaging, targeting, and overall outbound strategy.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong interest in outbound SaaS sales with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume prospecting environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling outreach messages and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
    • Resilience and persistence, with a mindset that treats rejection as feedback and motivation for improvement.
    • Ability to learn or discuss basic financial workflows and spreadsheet-based reporting (Excel familiarity is highly valued).
    • Coachable mindset with a strong desire to receive feedback and continuously improve sales techniques.
    • Prior SaaS, ERP, or B2B sales experience is a plus but not required.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms is an advantage.
