Role Summary and Impact
We are recruiting for a Business Director who is an exceptional and driven media planner, to join our Connections Planning team working on the Rolex account.
You will be working on the Rolex Tudor account in the UK, representing one of the most renowned luxury watch brands. A high level of attention to detail is essential. The Rolex Tudor account is constantly evolving and challenging, with a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
This role will enable a Connections Planner to work across a market-leading brand, lead client conversations, and assist in the effective creation, development, and execution of innovative media solutions across Print, Digital, OOH, and AV, while inspiring and challenging the client to achieve their objectives.
Both Rolex Tudor and Mindshare embrace agile, collaborative working, meaning you will essentially be an extension of Rolex Tudor’s marketing team, working closely with clients on a day-to-day basis and upholding strong relationships with both the client and media partners.
Team Rolex Tudor operates in an open and collaborative manner, so being a team player with a can-do attitude is essential. The successful candidate will be a role model and mentor for their team, leading by example and getting involved in all areas of the account.
About the role
You will be expected to demonstrate experience and knowledge in:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the key point of contact for both client and agency, leading and managing the account with support from the Account Director.
- Become the client's trusted advisor, consistently acting in their best interest.
- Day to day management of campaigns as a key liaison between clients and channel specialists.
- Lead by example, being a team player while motivating and inspiring the team.
- Deliver the media strategy for individual campaigns and the annual strategy with the support of the Account Director.
- Ensure ideas are inspirational, game-changing, and help clients achieve their objectives.
- Maintain quality control of team output, including responses to briefs, reporting, competitive analysis, PCAs, etc.
- Upskill direct reports by developing their knowledge and skills across Print, Digital, OOH, and AV.
- Manage people development, ensuring direct reports exceed their KPIs.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and finance checks.
Key skills and behaviours
- Previous luxury experience desired, with a passion for traditional media.
- Excellent team player, able to work with people across a broad range of disciplines and experience levels.
- Open-minded, flexible, and embracing of agile ways of working.
- Broad understanding of all media channels and the ability to confidently discuss their roles as part of a communications strategy.
- Excellent working knowledge of audience research and planning tools (such as TGI and Touchpoints) is essential.
- Passion for media and an understanding of what makes a great media campaign.
- Extensive experience in leading senior client relationships, managing all agency teams, leading and delivering client projects, and handling challenging conversations.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy in every output, as well as a high degree of organisation to successfully manage workflow for self and the team.

- You will have a strong desire to deliver innovative and effective work both reactively (in response to briefs), and proactively (spotting those opportunities for insight and innovation outside of briefs).
- We expect our Business Directors to show a breath of understanding of media channels, as well as in-depth and speciality understanding in how to discuss the present and future role each channel plays as part of a comms strategy.
- Strong people management skills.
- Collaborative both in the day-to-day account role and across the planning department.
