Business Generalist

ABOUT THE ROLE

GoPurpose is looking for a motivated and resourceful Business Generalist to work directly with the Management team. This is a full-time, cross-functional role covering business management, growth initiatives, marketing support, financial analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

The successful candidate should be a highly organized, entrepreneurial, and purpose-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to execute independently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support management in executing business priorities and managing key projects

• Track deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of initiatives

• Contribute to growth strategies,marketing campaigns, and partnership development

• Conduct market research and assist with business development activities

• Review financial reports and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and planning

• Develop Excel-based dashboards, reports, and financial models

• Liaise with external accountants, vendors, and corporate service providers

• Prepare presentations, proposals, and management reports

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and team administration as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

• Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in business management, operations, finance, consulting, project management, marketing, or related fields

• Prior experience in startups, SMEs, social enterprises, or Management’s Office roles is advantageous

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel(financial modelling, dashboards, reporting)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Familiarity with Xero or QuickBooks is an advantage

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline

• Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be an advantage

WORKING HOURS & ARRANGEMENT

Full-time | Monday to Friday

Hybrid arrangement: approximately 70%remote, 30% in-person
