Job Description\:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic production environment at the heart of US Programmes, helping to coordinate and integrate activities across multiple business functions. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, Safety and senior business leaders, you’ll support the flow of information, governance and strategy-making that enables successful programme delivery. Your role combines project coordination, business integration and continuous improvement activities, helping establish effective business rhythms, processes and standards that support operational performance.
Collaborating with a diverse stakeholder network, you’ll contribute to production operations, support new business activities and help drive alignment across highly detailed programmes. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop project management, stakeholder engagement and business improvement skills while making a meaningful contribution to operational excellence and future business growth across BAE Systems.
Core duties\:
- Developing and maintaining business management reports and briefing packs for Production Operations leadership and key stakeholders
- Supporting Integrated Business Planning activities, including cost base reviews, reforecasting and performance tracking processes
- Coordinating and integrating facility inputs for bids, ensuring accurate responses across production and functional teams
- Monitoring project actions, timelines and dependencies, driving progress and maintaining a consistent business rhythm
- Facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops to align operations, engineering and support functions on priorities and delivery targets
Essential Skills\:
- Demonstrable project management experience, applying structured methodologies, governance processes and delivery standards within a professional environment
- Experience influencing and collaborating with stakeholders across operational, functional and business boundaries to achieve outcomes
- Demonstratable ability to assess highly detailed information, identify trends and support the development of practical business solutions
- Experience producing and presenting reports, performance data and briefing materials to support strategy-making activities
- Considerable planning and prioritisation skills, managing multiple activities and deadlines within a fast-paced operational environment
