Job Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams during software development and implementation projects. This position will be Full-Time, Hybrid, and a long-term contract role in Trenton, NJ. Candidates must work 3 days a week ON-SITE 8-4:30 physically IN-Office in Trenton, NJ. (2 days remote work)

What You’ll Do

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs to recommend solutions that enable an organization to achieve its goals

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops

  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications

  • Analyze data and processes to provide business intelligence information to management

  • Utilize software to conduct analyses and manage data processes, recommending alternative data or analysis solutions as needed

  • Implement new data or analysis processes based on changing business or industry conditions

  • Develop instructions for ongoing system administration and end-user processes, ensuring data integrity and knowledge transfer

  • Create training materials for end users and ensure effective knowledge sharing

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business users to manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI integrations, and Dataverse performance-related issues

  • Success will be measured by clear requirements documentation, reduced project rework, improved stakeholder satisfaction, effective communication between teams, and timely delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 3-years experience gathering and elicitation of requirements

  • 3-years process mapping and workflow documentation experience

  • 3-years technical writing

  • 3-years stakeholder management and training application users

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, and web services

  • Experience with system integrations, data modeling, and data analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

  • 3-years with Business Process Flows (BPFs) and system design alignment, Business Requirements Documents (BRD), User Stories and Use Cases

  • 3-years experience with external data integrations

  • 3-yeras of working and aligning with developers

  • 3 years experience troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, integrations, and Dataverse performance related issues

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Science, or a related field

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

  • Experience integrating Microsoft Power BI with the Microsoft Power Platform (Desired 1+ Years)

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
