Mahmud's Tandoor is a fast-growing Indian-Pakistani fast food restaurant in Singapore, serving authentic cuisine through dine-in, takeaway, and delivery channels. We are seeking a Business Logistics Coordinator to support our daily operations by managing inventory, procurement, logistics coordination, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor daily inventory levels for food ingredients, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular inventory checks.
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) inventory practices.
- Coordinate stock replenishment to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with approved suppliers.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers when required.
Operations & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate inventory requirements with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Support production planning based on sales forecasts and demand trends.
- Ensure availability of packaging materials and operational supplies.
- Coordinate logistics for takeaway and delivery operations.
Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor food costs and inventory variances.
- Assist in tracking wastage and implementing cost-reduction initiatives.
- Prepare inventory, procurement, and logistics reports.
- Support management in analysing operational performance indicators.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of inventory and procurement activities.
- Support operational audits and compliance reviews.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory control, procurement, warehouse operations, supply chain, or food & beverage operations preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and internship experience may be considered.
Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Good organisational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
