Human Resource Intern
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, including recruitment, HR administration, employee records management, and HR systems maintenance. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced work environment and may be considered for conversion to a full-time HR Executive position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Prepare recruitment-related documents and maintain candidate records.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires.
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with attendance tracking and leave administration.
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and manpower-related information.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and welfare programs.
- Handle general HR enquiries and administrative duties.
HRIS & Data Management
- Update and maintain employee information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
- Generate reports and perform data entry as required.
General HR Support
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement and company events when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HR team.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE A-Level qualification, Diploma, or currently pursuing a Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn.
Internship Details
Duration: Minimum 3 months (renewable)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Compensation:
- Pre-University Students: SGD 800 per month
- University Students: SGD 1,000 per month
