About this Role
We are in search of a collaborative and engaged individual to lead and support a team of highly skilled Legal Assistants and Paralegals within our Business Law and Business Litigation teams. This role reports to the Director of Operations and works collaboratively with Lawyers and various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and support efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Legal Assistants and Paralegals, including scheduling, providing feedback, and performance management.
- Organizing and delivering coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Collaborating with Lawyers, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure proper resource allocation and workflow coordination.
- Contributing to the delivery of Firm projects and strategic initiatives.
- Overseeing the budgets for each practice area and fulfilling regular reporting requirements.
- Building and maintaining successful relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Providing operational insight on hiring, onboarding, and team development.
- Leading and contributing to the cultivation of a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Recommending and implementing process improvements to improve operational efficiency.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience. Prior experience in the legal industry is considered a strong asset but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organization skills with experience adapting to changing priorities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Mindset: A strategic thinker and positive, empathetic leader dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and respect.
- Tech Proficiency: Adept at using Outlook and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
