About the job
The Business Operations Specialist (Emerging Careers) will support the Revenue Enablement Division in strategic planning, management and administration of the current SAS revenue enablement platform. Duties include but are not limited to page development, content architecture, governance & curation, performance and impact analysis, publisher and end user training and support, troubleshooting, feature testing and more.
As a Business Operations Specialist, you will:
- Manage and support the development and execution of business strategies, programs and revenue enablement platform initiatives; align scope with strategic business objectives, coordinate across stakeholders and regularly report status to management.
- Support the strategic planning, management and administration of the SAS revenue enablement platform, including page development, content architecture, content upload, graphic application, governance, curation, troubleshooting, quality assurance and feature testing.
- Define, implement and maintain standards, best practices, templates, policies, processes and guidance materials that foster collaboration, consistency, quality, platform integrity, adoption and an exceptional user experience.
- Establish and maintain an operating rhythm that enables the organization to run effectively and efficiently in support of team and divisional goals.
- Identify and analyze business needs, operational gaps, platform performance, content usage and KPI impact to recommend practical solutions and continuous improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Investigate options, recommend courses of action and help drive implementation of initiatives that improve operations, service delivery readiness and platform capabilities.
- Engage in the project life cycle to support successful delivery, including resource requests, project plans, documentation, service agreements, operational tasks and established internal business processes.
- Establish and build trusted relationships with customers, internal clients, Business Units, project stakeholders, dependencies and cross-functional partners through partnership, cooperation and trust.
- Stay current with trends, best practices and emerging capabilities, including AI-related support for internal business operations and revenue enablement platform functionality.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Training and Development, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time experience.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Experience researching, analyzing, reporting and synthesizing information, including business operations data, web metrics, testing results and performance insights, to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to organize and support projects, coordinate work across stakeholders, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to build pages using WYSIWYG tools while adhering to internal brand, content and governance standards; basic knowledge of graphic design or graphic editing tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or similar programs.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely, facilitate discussions, present recommendations and support negotiation or consensus-building.
- Detail-oriented with a strong quality focus, operational rigor, accuracy and commitment to supporting internal and external customers with excellence to help meet team and company goals.

- Location: Cary, HQ Hybrid (minimum of 3 days in the office per week). Open to considering non-local candidates for the right individual.
