About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Performance and Financial Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Ayala, Makati.
Note: This is for a minimum of 1-year employment contract.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Oversight & Review
Review and analyze JV financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and JV agreements
Validate key financial metrics
Identify inconsistencies, unusual trends, or potential financial risks and escalate accordingly
Ensure alignment between reported results and underlying operational drivers
2. Protection of CPI Interests
Monitor JV activities against shareholder agreements, governance frameworks, and commercial terms
Review and challenge:
Budget proposals and forecasts
Dividend declarations and distribution policies
Related party transactions and cost sharing arrangements
Ensure CPI is not exposed to unfavorable financial or contractual positions
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Analysis
Analyze JV annual budgets and rolling forecasts to ensure assumptions are reasonable and aligned with market conditions
Provide insights on profitability, cost efficiency, and return on investment (ROI)
Support internal reporting on JV financial performance to CPI leadership
4. Audit & Compliance Coordination
Interface with internal and external auditors on JV-related matters
Review JV audit reports and ensure timely resolution of findings
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Support
Act as finance focal point for JV partners, operators, and internal stakeholders
Support preparation for:
Board meetings
JV committee meetings
Provide financial input into decision-making and strategic discussions
Build and maintain strong working relationships with JV counterparties
6. Risk Identification & Reporting
Proactively identify financial, operational, and governance risks within the JV
Develop and present clear, data-driven insights and recommendations

About You

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related field
5–7 years of relevant experience in joint venture analysis, corporate finance, business performance, and financial statement analysis
Proven experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and strong capability in data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence business decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial trends and drive business recommendations
