Business Process Consultant (Test Management)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Business Process Consultant to support the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of end-to-end testing processes within a large-scale, complex enterprise environment.

In this role, you will focus on establishing a scalable and consistent testing governance framework across multiple systems and delivery streams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business, IT, QA, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery in an Agile/SAFe environment.

The position requires strong expertise in process design, test management frameworks, quality assurance standards, and stakeholder alignment in multi-team environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies and standardized testing processes.
  • Establish and maintain testing governance, methodologies, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Design and document test management processes, including:
    • Test lifecycle management
    • Test planning and execution
    • Test environment and test data management
    • Release validation and quality control
    • Define and enforce quality gates, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD).
    • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of testing processes across teams and systems.
    • Support implementation of test automation and shift-left testing approaches.
    • Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with cross-functional stakeholders (Business, IT, QA, vendors).
    • Ensure consistency and alignment of testing practices across multiple delivery streams.
    • Benchmark processes against industry best practices and maturity models.
    • Support development of testing capabilities, roles, responsibilities, and operating models.
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Process Consulting, Test Management, QA Process Improvement, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing testing processes and governance frameworks in complex IT environments.
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-team or multi-stream delivery organizations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or SAFe environments.
  • Strong expertise in process design, governance, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of testing lifecycle and quality management principles.
  • Knowledge of test automation concepts and shift-left testing approach.
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to align business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in complex organizational environments.
  • Ability to drive standardization and change across multiple teams.
