Business Sales Account Executive

Position Title: Business Sales Account Executive<\/b> <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

Base Salary:<\/b> $50,000 annually DOE<\/span>
Performance\-Based Salary Advancement: <\/b>Eligible for a\n salary increase up to $60,000 annually within six months,\n contingent upon successful completion of training and\n achievement of defined performance goals.<\/span>
Commission:<\/b> Target commission of $40,000 annually.<\/span>

Job Summary<\/b> <\/span>
The Business Sales Account Executive is a unique and\n exciting role responsible for generating sales in Ziply Fiber\u2019s\n service areas to the small and medium business community. This\n includes sales campaigns through door\-to\-door efforts,\n networking, local partnerships, and community\-based\n events.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>

  • Successfully\n complete the Ziply Fiber New\-hire Sales Training.<\/span> <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Call\n upon a high number of businesses, both in\-person and through\n email or phone, as directed by Ziply Sales Leadership and\n present Ziply Fiber\u2019s Internet and phone services as\n directed by Ziply Sales Leadership.<\/span>

  • Follow\n the sales process outlined in Ziply Fiber\u2019s New\-hire training,\n including but not limited to, daily door knocking in designated\n business communities as set forth by the sales manager,\n following prospects via phone calls and emails\n resulting in closing one new customer each day.<\/span> <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate\n in various events within an assigned territory, to get customers\n to sign\-up for Ziply Fiber services.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Travel\n outside assigned territory to participate in team\-wide sales\n events, up to 25% of working days.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Active\n involvement in Chambers of Commerce and other local\n organizations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate\n in e\-learning, classroom sales training, and associated\n curriculum in tandem with Sales Trainer.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Meet\n and exceed monthly sales performance expectations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Perform\n financial responsibilities to include operational expense\n tracking, processing mileage reimbursements, logging event\n expenses, and others in a timely manner.<\/span>

  • Monitor\n industry developments (technical, regulatory, and otherwise) and\n apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact\n analysis.<\/span>

  • Performs\n other duties as required to support the business and evolving\n organization.<\/span>

    Required Qualifications:<\/b> <\/span>
    <\/div>
    • High\n school diploma or GED.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent\n communications and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to\n communicate complex solutions in a professional business\n setting.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Demonstrated\n experience working with people in a variety of settings that\n required use of interpersonal skills (e.g., customer service,\n retail or service industry jobs, school teams, or\n clubs).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Must\n be enthusiastic, persuasive, and resilient\u2014able to handle\n rejection and maintain a positive attitude throughout the\n sales process.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Must\n be self\-motivated and competitive, with a strong personal drive\n to achieve goals.<\/span>

    • Must\n be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a\n calm, professional manner.<\/span>

    • Must\n have access to reliable transportation.<\/span>

    • Must\n be willing to travel outside of the immediate area up to 25% of\n working days.<\/span>

    • Must\n be able to pass local community background checks and permitting\n processes.<\/span>

    • Must\n have and maintain a valid driver\u2019s license, auto insurance, and\n satisfactory driving record.<\/span>

      • Bachelor\u2019s\n degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related\n field preferred; recent college graduates are strongly\n encouraged to apply.<\/span>
