Business Support Executive
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Business Support Executive to support the Finance, Human Resources, Compliance and Operations functions of the Firm. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute actively to the day-to-day operations of various departments in a lean and dynamic environment.
This role involves effective communication and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders across a broad range of tasks.
Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of full sets of accounts, GST filings, corporate tax matters, and other bookkeeping-related matters.
- Assist in the preparation of business plans, budgets, management reports, financial forecasts, and related materials.
- Review and support the preparation of regulatory reporting, statistics, surveys, and related procedures, including submissions to MAS, IRAS, CPF, and other relevant authorities, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with outsourced vendors and service providers.
- Support translation work between English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Support the Trading Operations team in daily trade operations, including KYC onboarding, where required.
- Support ad hoc business initiatives, internal projects, and other matters assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential, as the role involves regular liaison with Head Office and translation of documents from Bahasa Indonesia to English.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, compliance, operations, finance, and senior management teams.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage deadlines, including unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
