Business Unit Director Water - Europe & Africa

You will assume full P&L ownership and lead a team delivering mission‑critical water systems testing and certification solutions to customers who depend on reliability, innovation, and business excellence.

What You’ll Lead

  • P&L Ownership : Manage financial performance, set targets, and ensure profitable growth across all product and service lines.

Hybrid from our Diegem office with frequent travels across region Europe & Africa

  • Higher degree in business, marketing, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for commercial and strategic leadership.

  • 10+ years of experience in business development and commercial leadership roles, ideally within industrial or technical B2B markets, water industry as an asset

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, expanding new business, and delivering results across regional or global markets.

  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills, with the ability to strengthen client partnerships, drive customer satisfaction, and create long‑term value.

  • Sales & Commercial Leadership: Demonstrated success leading teams, executing proactive selling strategies, driving execution and accountability woven in naturally and powerfully

  • Execution & Issue Resolution : A leader who brings solutions, and discipline to daily operations. Demonstrated ability to quickly identify performance gaps, and fix issues decisively to keep teams aligned and customers satisfied. Skilled at implementing strong processes, reinforcing accountability, and ensuring problems are solved at the root .
