What You’ll Be Doing

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service capability

  • Conduct market research on products, pricing, and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions

  • Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer supplier contracts to optimize value and ensure compliance

  • Manage end-to-end purchase order processing in line with company policies and procedures

  • Perform life cycle costing analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement categories

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor ongoing performance improvements

  • Analyze vendor and commodity data to forecast trends and support strategic sourcing decisions

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review technical specifications and align procurement needs

  • Resolve supplier issues related to defective or non-conforming goods and implement corrective actions

  • Approve invoices for payment and ensure alignment with contractual terms and delivery milestones

  • Develop and track procurement KPIs, providing regular reporting to management

  • Identify and escalate risks, operational issues, or project deviations, recommending corrective actions

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in purchasing and/or sourcing within FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement best practices

  • Experience with e-sourcing tools and procurement systems

  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and influence stakeholders effectively

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large spend categories and interpret data trends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a global environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance

  • Fluency in English

  • Based in or able to work in Shanghai (hybrid work arrangement)
