C# Automation Testing - SDET

As an Automation Tester - SDET, you will be a key contributor to our software quality assurance efforts. Your expertise in automated testing will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and performance of our web-based and API-based applications. Working closely with development teams, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our software meets the highest standards.
  • Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts using C# for web and API testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test plans.
  • Execute automated tests to identify and report issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to validate specific scenarios or edge cases.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to development teams on test results and identified issues.
  • Ensure test coverage for all critical areas of the software, including functionality, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure a seamless testing process and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in C# programming language for test automation.
  • Experience in testing web-based and API-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with banking and credit card platforms is a must.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing frameworks.
