We are seeking a CAA to join our team at North Knoxville. North Knoxville Medical Center is an acute care hospital. The Powell Hospital and Medical Center offers private patient rooms with dedicated family areas. In addition, the hospital has technologically advanced information and communications systems, decentralized nursing stations for better efficiency and patient care, and noise-reduction materials to provide patients with a more comfortable experience. Medical supervision, flexible schedule options.

Salary: $ 240K-$250K annually (call-taking and non-call options available)

• Case Assignment
• Orthopedics, general surgery, adult ENT, GI

Responsibilities
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
